Here in Cleveland, Ohio, USA (and in much of the country), a ton of media attention is being paid to the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James, the National Basketball Association's hottest new superstar, who happened to log his first triple-double last night -- meaning he had double-digit points(27) rebounds (11) and assists(10).

Yet, despite all of his tremendous talent and physical skill, there is an action that I can perform with very little effort, which LeBron is unable to do. What is it?

Has it something to do with LeBron's physical qualities? mental qualities? the place where you both are?

Is the above statement permanent or transitory (I mean, can you do this always or only at present)?

From Kate (e-mail): Is the answer -touch LeBron's elbow with a hand?

Kate - since the answer is no, I copied the question from your e-mail here.. It isn't anything like this - I should have added that I have performed this action in the past, and can do so at almost any time, whereas LeBron cannot (I don't need to be in his presence to do so).

By Ixoye724 (Ixoye724):

Use proper grammar? No, nearly anyone can use proper grammar

By Alizon (Alizon):

Has it something to do with LeBron's physical qualities? This, mostly. Semi-ish.
mental qualities? the place where you both are? And this, in a way, as well. The puzzle statement would not be true everywhere in the world, in other words.

Is the above statement permanent or transitory (I mean, can you do this always or only at present)? At present, I can do this just about any time, LeBron cannot at any time.

By Shawn Franchi (Doctapeppa):

roll his tongue? No, though that may be true also.

By River Phoenix (Hawk):

Exist in a state of not being named LeBron James? Nothing quite so conceptual - an actual act.

Would this skill be useful to LeBron if he could accomplish it during a game?

ha! This will be a wonderful question once the puzzle is solved

No, it would probably not be the best course of action for him to do this during a game.

Could you do this skill right now if you desired? Yes, I could. Not too sure my boss would approve, though.

By Alizon (Alizon):

Do you think I can do this skill? I would guess yes, but not knowing you, I can't be certain.

Is it a matter of legality? For example, you could bet on a basketball game, buy/consume alcohol, get into certain clubs, gamble in a casino (I'm guessing he can gambol, but I don't imagine he does) etc.?

Buy a beer. The legal drinking age in the US is 21, and James came directly out of high school to the NBA. He just celebrated his 20th birthday.

Good thinking Bodo, and thanks to all who played...

Well then, Fred, you should take a crack at Haenlomal's Stumbling over the Truth puzzle above...I'm stuck, but I think it's probably not too far from solution.
