Everytime I take a shower I always put the lights on, even if plenty of light comes in from the window. Why? |

You have one of those walled-off showers that needs a light turned on inside the shower? The bathroom doesn't have a window? The light is linked to the ventilation system that keeps the room/mirror from steaming up? So that people know you're in there? Cause there's no lock on the door? Force of habit? To keep the ghosts away? Cause you're an exhibitionist who likes people to see their naked silhouette? |

Because: you might stay in the shower for a very long time, and it could become dark, and then you would not find your towel? your water is heated by electricity, and so if the lights go out you will have warning that the hot water is to fail, so you can rinse off and get out before that happens? the light switch also controls your towel heater/heated floor? if you finish your shower and need more light to shave or style your hair or something like that, you would rather not flip the switch when you are soaking wet? you draw the shade/curtains, so the light doesn't actually come in once you are showering? |
