Is part of the puzzle to figure out what the puzzle is? Are we supposed to figure out what to get on with? or is someone else saying this and we have to figure out the situation?

we have to figure out that single word, right? is it a noun? pronoun? adjective? verb? adverb? conjunction? preposition? interjection?

It's a 'regular noun'. (And Kristoffer, are you sure about some of your examples? Because I thought Peter would be a proper noun, and apple to be a regular noun...)

Is it the dreaded S word itself (spolier)? YES!!!
So come on then...Get on with it! :)

lol no that's it :)

The statement: Get on with it!

The reason: Why waste time on a puzzle when you can just type the word 'spoiler' and get it over with?

Different, certainly...

Peter is proper, student is common noun (maybe it is called regular too, but i myself saw it in a book, Voyages in English 7, to cite).

The name of a person, or a country, or a planet, or other particular object, is called a "proper noun". The name of each of the individuals that make up a class or genus is called a "common noun". The term "regular noun" is unknown to grammarians - verbs, depending on their conjugation, may be "regular" or "irregular", but nouns decline to be any such thing.

This information brought to you by woubits inc, pedants to the gentry since 1903, and possibly earlier still.
