So this broke the streak of "descending relationship times", and this broke the streak of relationships ended badly?not what I was going for, but I think we have enough for a.... ************SPOILER***************** Somehow, I developed a quite ominous pattern in my love life...From the very first boyfriend I ever had, each relationship lasted almost exactly half as long as the previous one...My first was 3 years, the next a year and a half, the next nine months, the next 4 and a half months.... I had been dating my current boyfriend for 2 months and a week when he told me he wanted to break up to focus on other things in his life--breaking my heart, and potentially continuing my streak. But, we talked a for a few days and decided to keep seeing each other, if not as often--fixing my broken heart and ending my horrible pattern (We've been together 2 and a half years now). And a good thing too, or eventually it would have gotten to the point of a guy changing his mind halfway through asking me on a first date! Thanks revitalizing this puzzle, Puzzlicious! I thought it was a goner there for a while! Congrats on figuring it out! | ||
