Not many people realize that Keith's job actually exists, although people refer to his occupation rather frequently. What does he do? |

Are people usually being sarcastic when they refer to his job (eg, "he thinks he's the king of the world")? Or are they using it as a measure of intelligence/talent (eg, "you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.")? Is it a job held by only 1 person? >10 people? >1000 people? |

So Keith makes/builds things for a living? Does he do reproduce things on a small level (like create weather inside a eco-chamber, or recreate the solar system in a planetarium)? Would people be surprised that his job existed just by hearing his title? What about if they heard about his job description? |

When people describe his job, would they normally say something along the lines of "he has to test the ..."? |

Well, you can never have too much wildebeest repellant on hand, is what I always say. I imagine you are correct. Does he watch paint dry, perchance?Precisely! ****************SPOILER******************** In October, London's Daily Mail profiled Keith Jackson, 57, an engineer for the AquaTec Coatings company in Wales, whose occupation for the last 30 years has been watching paint dry (to gauge its application time). He said the job pays "fairly well" but "can be stressful." [Reuters, 11-1-06] [Daily Mail (London), 10-5-06] |
