This ought to be a quick one, but, I hope, fun. The black man blew his brains out. Everybody clapped their hands. |

Why was he called the black man: He was dark-skinned? His clothes were black? His skin was dirty? He was a 'bad guy'? Is he human? male? adult? existing in real life? He blew his brains out: and thus killed him? using a gun? Is the second one human? male? adult? Is the occupation of them relevant? their relationship? Everybody: spectators? Is there a performance going on? |

So the black man blew his OWN brains out? Is the word brains relevant? the words blow out? His occupation: artistic/musical/writer? Banking/financial/real estate? Clerical/Administrative? Computer related / Hardware? Construction / Craftsman? Education / Academic Research? Entertainment / Media? Executive / Management? Hospitality / Travel? Legal Services? Manufacturing / Distributions? Medical / Health Services? Politics / Government / Military? Sales / Marketing? Technical / Science / Engineering? Teaching / Child care? Transportation? Food Service? Sports? Jailbird / Criminal? Religion? Does this happen at a (theatre) play? a performance of modern art (whatever that is)? Does this happen right before the end of the performance? Has there more to be found out about the spectators? Is the title relevant? |

Was the man a performing musician? did he sing? did he play an instrument? Is the music style rather: classical? folk? jazz? pop? rock? Has the piece he was playing to be found out? Is the phrase "The black man blew his brains out." related to the lyrics of the piece? |

Martinfg Posted on Sunday, February 04, 2007 - 7:23 pm: Blowing a trumpet or other wind instrument?YES!! ************SPOILER************ He was a sax-man, jamming in a club. He was putting a lot of passion in the music, and everybody loved it. There is no particular musician involved, but I must say that this puzzle was inspired from the Brooklyn Funk Essentials song called Blow Your Brains Out, in which the sax player does just that:D I hope it was at least a little fun for the 3 posts it lasted. I'll try to make the next ones harder. |
