Would this work if it was a different time? Was Joe late for something? Was something meant to happen at 6:45? Did it? Did Mike do something else that angered Joe? |

ok attempting a recap as I am lost: Joe and Mike are strangers. They have yesish written contact before they meet. Place they meet is yesishly outside. The 2 were alone when they met, but there are 3 more people involved who are yopeishly connected to Joe – not friends, relatives, colleagues or spouse. Mike yesishly thought Joe was asking the time with something similar to sign language (is this the written contact? did Joe write down the question of what the time was? or write some other question?) Joe and Mike were supposed to be silent for a certain amount of time - no games involved. is it a sponsered silence? are the 3 others human? adults? all male? all female? 1 male 2 female? 2 male 1 female? |

Do we have to find out more about the place where this happened? Under a roof? under a bridge? at the entry of a building? in a cavern? in the air? under water? on earth? Was Mike at the moment of the puzzle: working? doing a leisure activity? doing an activity of everyday life? The same questions for Joe please. Should we find out more about the note? of what was written down exactly? was it just an ordinary piece of paper? Did Mike misinterpret the situation? |

You said that Mike woke Joe up. Was Mike driving? Were they both passengers in a car? Was the third person the driver? Was the third person a man? a woman? Did the third person ask Mike to pass this message to Joe? Did Mike shake Joe awake? Did Mike crumble the paper and hit Joe with it? Did Mike make a paper airplane out of the note and throw it at Joe? Did Mike do any damage to Joe? The note was not meant for Joe, it was meant for the third person? Joe ended up getting the note on accident, because it was actually meant for the third person? The note was written for the third person, because Mike did not want to say the message out loud and accidently disturb Joe's sleep? Joe was in the back seat? Mike was in the front seat? Joe threw the note up front? |

Emeraldlink: Did the note say something like: "I am tired and need time..."? No Damia: did part of the text get hidden? the last part? so just reading the first part made it seem like he wanted to know the time? No to all Tobias: Did the note say: "I don't know what time it is"? Yes!! So Joe slept in his car and three people passed by and woke him up? Yes! did they ask him something? did they ask for the time? Yes! Did he put up the note as a reaction on the three other people? Yes! **********************SPOILER********************* (based on a joke!) Joe was on the road one day when he started feeling rather sleepy, so he decided to stop the car and take a nap. He had barely slept 5 minutes, however, when a passer-by tapped on the window, asking for the time. Slightly miffed, he gave it, then went back to sleep. Unfortunately, the same thing happened 5 minutes later. When this happened a third time, Joe had had enough. Furiously, he wrote "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS!" on a piece of paper, and stuck it up on the car window. Satisfied, he then settled back down for a long, uninterrupted sleep. Little did he know that a lovely, helpful boy would soon be along to furnish him with the time. The end! |
