I'd forgotten how addicting working on these puzzles is! Trei never listened to Elenna. She'd been after him for years and he knew she was right. But when Doris showed up one night, Elenna was glad Trei hadn't listened. Why? |

So because Trei couldn't quit smoking, he was sure to have matches or a lighter in his pocket. When they lost power she used that to light candles, oil lamps, etc...or....something more? |

So, E nagged about T's smoking only to find it helpful at the most unexpected but opportune moment? Did illumination allow split second evasion of danger or impact? to pick their way around? locate some important object, tool or needed item? |

Sixtyeight So because Trei couldn't quit smoking, he was sure to have matches or a lighter in his pocket. When they lost power she used that to light candles, oil lamps, etc...or....something more? That's it!! Petjan So, E nagged about T's smoking only to find it helpful at the most unexpected but opportune moment? Indeed Did illumination allow split second evasion of danger or impact? to pick their way around? locate some important object, tool or needed item? Nope - too complicated ****** SPOILER ****** Elena had been nagging her son Trei to stop smoking for years. He knew she was right; it would kill him someday. But the night Hurricane Doris blew through and the power went out, Elena was almost glad he had never listened to her. Say what you will about smokers and what a dirty habit it is, but a smoker will always know where the nearest lighter or matches are. Usually, they are in their pocket! Trei fished out his lighter and soon he and his mother had plenty of candles lit. Thanks everyone for playing!! |
