button on an elevator? if so, did she press the alarm button? many of the floor's buttons, so the elevator stopped at many floors? but, from what you have said, it states that you weren't at work when she pressed the button, so I guess that means she pushed the button at your home, correct? if so, did she push the button on your phone, disconnecting you from an important call? a conference call? a call with your bosses? a call with someone else important? |

Were you at all to blame for losing your job? Did they hear you saying something through the phone? Something negative about your job? Something which suggested you should be fired? Did it prove that you were lying about something? |

Were you at all to blame for losing your job? yes Did they hear you saying something through the phone? yes Something negative about your job? yes Something which suggested you should be fired? Did it prove that you were lying about something? ******************SPOILER********* This is close enough. This is a true story that recently happened to a friend. If his 2 year old daugther gets fussy, he usually locks his cell phone (so it cant dial out) and hands it to her to play with (open and close, push buttons). A month ago, he forgot to lock it and gave it to her. His wife was in the car and he was complaining about his boss -- he later realized his daughter had push a speed-dial that dialed up his boss, and he heard everything he said. He was let go shortly thereafter. Thanks for playing. I had been gone for quite some time. I recently heard this story and thought it'd make a good lateral. |
