The commander gave an inspirational speech and the troups were ready to invade. However as they approached the earth they were thwarted at the last minute. This one is kinda out there, but its Friday |

The troups were thwarted by the atmosphere? Some other troups? Some gas? Chemical? Heat? Radiation? Is is relevant how they were thwarted? Is it relevant why they were thwarted? Are they microorganisms? Visible to the naked eye? Larger than the average human? |

Do they look like any earth-born organisms? Were they thwarted by:- Energy? Force? Pressure? Electromagnetic waves? Trees? Animals? Humans? Spacecraft? Satellites? Rockets? Aircraft? Any man-made object? Were they thwarted:- because something/someone knew they were invading? by accident? by something of their own doing? Were the troops aware that they would be thwarted? Did they intend that to happen? Was the commander also thwarted? Is he/she/it of the same life-form as the rest of the troop? Is the commander relevant - apart from the fact that he gave the speech? |
