So basically, 'they' are little girls who saved some female adult non-humans but in the process, killed some males of the same non-human species. Is the fact that only the males died a direct consequence of the fact that only the females could be saved? To rephrase, did the males die only because they could not be saved like the females? Or did the girls do something else to kill them? | ||

here goes... **************Spoiler**************** These girls are in Africa. They see a baby zebra running to its mum. They were told not to make loud noises but they cheer for the zebra foal. This scares the whole zebra herd who runs off. Lions were trying to catch some zebra, and they gave up, could'nt catch anything else, and died.
