I'm kind of confused. Seems pretty normal to me. Obviously the whole bar WILL be petrified on hearing shots, and someone WILL scream. Is the mystery part about why the two guys were running BEFORE the shots were fired? Oh, and is the change in tense in the puzzle statement intended, or is that inadvertent? | ||

Welcome to the forum, Fleemco. In the future, please include your name in the title of the puzzle. Did they run into the bar because they heard the gunshots? Were the running and the shooting going on at the same time? Was one or both of them shot? Was what they heard as two gunshots actually the sound of two bullets being fired from a gun? | ||

"Two guys" = Human? Adult? Male? "Woman" = Human? Adult? Female? Possibly similar to Gourami's question, if so just point me in the direction of the answer to his question. I just want to make sure i hit all these bases so i apologize for duplicate questions. The two guys (can i call them Alex and Bill?)... were running before the gunshots? were running in preparation for the gunshots? started running after the gunshots? ran because of the gunshots? were already heading to the bar before gunshots were fired? were doing something else and went into the bar because of the gunshots? Were Alex and Bill some how involved with this situation in the bar? or was it a mere coincidence that these events were coming to pass in the bar and they were there/nearby. Does "a woman" (can i call her Cindy?) have any sort of prior connection with Alex and Bill before these events came to pass? or is she seeing both of these individuals for the first time? Does Cindy scream because of what she sees? because of the gunshots? because Cindy just screams periodically for no apparent reason and the fact that she is screaming now while these events are taking place is mere coincidence? "petrified" = stunned/amazed/astounded/left speechless by the events that transpired? merely a figure of speech? "petrified" = in the magical sense that things were literally turned to stone? | ||

Relevant - - The location? - The time period? - Alex and Bill's profession? Anyone else's? - By the whole bar, you mean everyone in it? Is it crowded? Is the number of people relevant? Are the scream and the petrification due to the same cause? Are Alex and Bill the cause of the scream? The petrification? Or is the scream, or the petrification, caused by the shots? Were the gunshots real shots, fired from a gun? If so, was the gun loaded? Did bullets hit anyone? Anything? Is a robbery in progress? Are Alex and Bill police officers? Is anyone dead or injured? | ||

Is this like a scene from a table top role playing game where Alex and Bill are our player characters that Cindy is some sort of gorgon (Medusa) terrorizing the local bar? is anything about the location relevant aside from that its a bar? recap So Alex and Bill are walking along. Somewhere they hear two gunshots. Curious or otherwise, they turn to start running toward the gun shots but both unfortunately hit their head on a stone bar. Some where near by Cindy saw them hit their heads and screamed. Is this it? or do i need to look more into the gunshots themselves and why Alex and Bill would start heading toward them? | ||
