LPTF relevant? yes - this one may not be as clever as a woubit puzzle - or as complex as a JenBurdoo puzzle - but this statement is not as literal as it seems! Are you doing puzzles at night instead of sleeping? Ah...no, but I HAVE done that in the past! |

I was thinking that while your business is low you're having time to do lateral puzzles during daytime and woubit's and other people's clever puzzles don't let you sleep even at night. Is this somewhat into the right direction? Otherwise: Relevant why you're not sleeping at night currently? do you sleep during daytime instead? Is your profession/job/kind of business relevant? Are you a tax advisor? |

LPTF? Don't you mean LTPF? Are you doing something at night and you aren't getting enough sleep? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you waking up early? Business = Physical work? Are you on some kind of drugs (alchohol, smoking)? Do you have a medical condition? Do you have nightmares? Are you continuously worried/nervous/thinking about something? |

Would business mean your profession? The minutes of a club meeting? Setting questions on this site? Asking questions on this site? Whatever its definition, is it this site that you hope will be picking up? Is it an external stimulus while you are trying to sleep that is keeping you awake? |

Is your profession related to: * Artistic / musical / writer * Banking / financial / real estate * Clerical / Administrative * Computer related / Hardware * Construction / Craftsman * Criminal / Questionable Repute * Education / Academic Research * Entertainment / Media * Environmental / Outdoors / Nature * Executive / Management * Hospitality / Travel * Legal Services * Manufacturing / Distributions * Medical / Health Services * Politics / Government / Military * Sales / Marketing * Technical / Science / Engineering * Teaching / Child care * Transportation * Food Service * Other Do you live in the same building/area where you work? Would business picking up correspond to a financial gain? Whereby you could pay to stop the external stimulus? Do you intentionally create the external stimulus (e.g. an alarm clock waking you up at 3 a.m. to work a second job)? Do you have any control over it whatsoever? Is it created by something alive? A machine of some kind? Something inside your residence? Is this a stimulus in the form of sound? light? heat? cold? physical discomfort? a smell? |

So do you and your husband have the same job? When you refer to business picking up, do you mean your business? his? If business picks up, will he start working late? And thus going to sleep after you, rather than keeping you up with his snoring? |

Does your job involve travelling? Would you, when your business picks up, spend more often the night in a hotel? where nobody dares to disturb your sleep? |

Does your job involve travelling? Yes Would you, when your business picks up, spend more often the night in a hotel? Yes where nobody dares to disturb your sleep? Yes Very Good! ***************SPOILER********************** For the past several years, my company has sold upwards of 70-75 new franchises each year. That would keep me or my team members on the road for 1-3 weeks a month. At that time, I hated the hetic and tiring pace. Staying in hotels and eating out every night lost all fascination for me. However, during the last 12 months, my team has only supported 9 new locations. That has been both good and bad: Good for catching up on paperwork, creating new programs, improving staff training, and enjoying family vacations. It has been bad for the bottom line and growth goals...yet, that type of thing doesn't keep me awake at night. Late one night - er, that would be EARLY one morning, I was missing out on those last precious hours of sleep because the husband's snoring was rattling the whole room. I couldn't help "dreaming" about all those lovely soft hotel beds, crisp sheets, abundance of pillows -- and blessed SILENCE! Ah-h! So, when business picks up, I will be traveling more - and blissfully sleeping in a quiet hotel room! (Does this prove the old adage that we want what we don't have?) Anyway, thanks for playing along. |
