well, was it a relative that Aly thought Sebastian knew about, or was it an acquaintance? Relevant? Is the relative/acquaintance the famous person? If not, does the relative/acquaintance know the famous person? Do they have similarly spelled names? If it's a relative, does the famous person have a first/last/full name that is spelled or pronounced similarly to the relationship between Aly and said relative? For instance, suppose that the family member is Aly's grandmother's Uncle Tim. But Sebastian spelled it Tom (with an O). And Uncle Tim lived in a cabin. So Sebastian writes a letter to Aly where he asks "tell me about your grandmother's Uncle Tom's Cabin". And then it turns out Aly's grandmother is Harriet Beecher Stowe (author of the book Uncle Tom's Cabin). But since Aly never told anyone about her grandmother, she thinks Sebastian is psychic. |

I think this can be easily solved after a... ****************RECAP Seb reads something and then asks Aly a question that involves a male movie star. She thinks he knows that the star is a distant relative of hers, and therefore thinks he is psychic. What he read was a family name, but he mis-read it as a different family name. Let's say for argument's sake that the actor is Tom Cruise. |

Because this isn't going anywhere, and because I have plenty of others on the way: ****************SPOILER Aly has a surname that sounds like that of a famous actor, but it is spelled differently--for example, her name is Aly Cruz. Sebastian sees her name written down, and, not realizing that 'Cruz' is different than 'Cruise,' asks, "Any relation to Tom Cruise?" Oddly enough, though, Aly is distantly related to the actor, though because of marriage they have different last names. She can't understand how Sebastian knew this and thinks he must be psychic; actually, he's just bad at spelling. |
