Robin Hood: he who steals from the rich to give to the poor? the real person? the cartoon character? None of the above. "his": HAM? Yes. Any other characters related to Robin Hood relevant? No. If not for Robin Hood, would he have died by [insert list of LTPF ways to die]? There are a number of possibilities, but the general class would be murder. |

[for this, "Robin Hood" is the one in your puzzle, provided he is not from Sherwood Forest, which is how the prototype will be tagged.] is Robin Hood a HAM? is he from Sherwood Forest? does he lead a merry band? does he steal from the rich and give to the poor? does he do so figuratively? How many relevant characters? Two? More? is a murderer also relevant? if so, is the murderer a HAM? "his" = another person, correct? if so, can we call him "Tuck," please? did Robin Hood actively save Tuck's life? was RH aware of it? did he intend to? plan to? Was Tuck aware Robin Hood saved his life? any of these people real? true story? from legend? FYOI? location/era relevant? Did Robin Hood know the would-be murderer (or FA)? Did Tuck (ditto)? plans gone wrong relevant? were they criminals? outlaws? |

was Tuck Jewish? Yes. would he have been present at Kristallnacht, or other initial act of genocide? No, but close enough. was he, ironically, spared such a fate by being selected to compose music for the Robin Hood film? Yes. SPOILER WARNING BELOW ********************* Tuck was Erich Korngold, the composer for many early Hollywood films. A native of Austria, he preferred to live there and only travel to the US to work. When Kristallnacht occurred, he and his family were in Hollywood, and stayed. He had left just in time, just before the barriers to emigration went down. Had he not gotten the job to work on Robin Hood, he would have lost the chance to escape Europe, and probably died in the Holocaust. He credited Robin Hood with saving his life. |
