He had been ill. Why did they change the title when they told his story? Based on a puzzle in our new book Infuriating Lateral Thinking Puzzles - which is a mash-up of Intriguing LTPs and Perplexing LTPs. So if you already have both of those books do not buy it. Otherwise recommended as it is packed with great puzzles. Paul Sloane |

Are we talking about 'The Madness of King George'? Is it perhaps that an American audience might think that 'George III' referred in some way to their esteemed president? Perhaps, after George II, the very idea of a third Bush would have driven them to the brink? Or perhaps 'George III' looks a bit like 'George W' (if you squint a bit)? |

* * * SPOILER * * * Woodworm - Is it because people would think it was a sequel? YES The film originally entitled the Madness of King George III was changed to the Madness of King George because it was feared that American audiences would not go to see it if they thought they had missed the preceding two movies in the set. Based on a puzzle in Infuriating Lateral Thinking Puzzles - which is highly recommended. Paul Sloane |
