Every year, all of my piano teacher's students do a recital. During this year's recent recital, someone played a song that I know I will hear around the same time next year. Why, and what is the song? |

True story? Will you hear the song at next year's recital? Do you know the exact date you'll hear it next year? A holiday? A special event? A movie/CD release? Did you recognize the song? Is it classical music? A theme song? A pop song? An elementary learning-to-play-the-piano song? |

Is the recital at a certain point in time (like a Christmas recital)? Will you hear the song at the point in time? But not at the recital? |

Is the recital for a holiday? For graduation? Some other school-related thing? Is the song Pachelbel's Canon? |

Congrats for next year! I assume you're graduating high school? I did so this year, so from one graduate to another, congratulations! |

Congrats! When I hear "Pomp and Circumstance," I automatically sing "Land of Hope and Glory." The same thing happens when I hear "My Country 'tis of Thee" -- I sing "God Save the Queen." I'm American, but I'm also contrary... :p |
