Can you begradab any inanimate object? Or just one specific class of object? It the begradabed object the "prop" required? Or does one begradab something using something else? If a woman was especially "butch," would she be more likely to begradab more often? If she had low estrogen? If she was a lesbian? If she was childless? If she was boyish in appearance? If she had a boyish name? If she grew up surrounded by men? If she was particularly strong/muscular? |

Can you begradab any inanimate object? No Or just one specific class of object? Just one object, period. It the begradabed object the "prop" required? Yes Or does one begradab something using something else? No If a woman was especially "butch," would she be more likely to begradab more often? If she had low estrogen? If she was a lesbian? If she was childless? If she was boyish in appearance? If she had a boyish name? If she grew up surrounded by men? If she was particularly strong/muscular? Hmmm...any woman can begradab, it's only that most don't. It's probably more of a stereotype than anything else - both my mother and sister begradab - so try not to overanalyze things. |

...and then place it down on the twisted end to keep it from untwisting? This one. That's everything! or tieing the twisted end in a knot? or putting a peg on the twist? **********SPOILER********** To begradab (an anagram of "bread bag") is to spin a bread bag around to close it and tuck the twisted end under the loaf. My dad, sister, and I do this all the time; my mother will sometimes use a twist tie or bread tag. The "Bill" in the puzzle statement is Bill Engvall of Blue Collar Comedy fame; one of his routines involves how, rather than using a bread tag/twist tie/knot to close a bread bag, "I did what all men do: I spun the top and tucked it under!" Hence the statement. (The puzzle title was hinting at the four comedians of Blue Collar Comedy.) Nice job, everyone, especially Kdoc for the solve. You know where my next puzzle is. |
