Did the deaths happen over many years? A few years? Is a massacre relevant? Holocaust? Something similar? | ||

Jesus and the disciples? The Last Supper? Whoa, where'd you come from? **********SPOILER********** The thirteen men are Jesus and the Twelve Disciples at the Last Supper. Shortly afterwards, Jesus is crucified, and later Judas, having betrayed Jesus, hangs himself due to guilt. The rest of the Disciples are all executed for following Jesus and for their beliefs, being variously beheaded, crucified, etc. No record of John's death is known, so it's assumed that he died naturally. Kudos to Balin for participating a lot in this puzzle, Woodworm for jumping in and solving it, and Mattiel so he won't feel left out. ;) Expect a LA soon. | ||

Just one comment about the offensive character of the term "nigger", of course i didn't mean to offense anyone, I know that Agatha Christie herself had to change the name to "10 little indians" because of this reason, but as the original title included that word I thought it would be harmless to use it ;-) | ||
