More than 10? a few, but the puzzle scenario would work for 10-100 or thereabouts Is there anything relevant about Dave, except his fondness for designer wear? well, he's a normal guy, but it wouldn't hurt to find out a little more about him Credit cards relevant? Any HUGE debts? (just to get the most obvious out of the way) not at all |

Scrabble? You know me too well :-) Does Dave think a word exists that is not an official scrabble word? most scrabble players try phony words from time to time, but this isn't the answer |

Does Dave get caught cheating? No, although there was a high-profile case of this a few years ago, when a Bahraini player with a baseball cap was using the peak of his cap to disguise the fact that he was peering into the bag. He got banned. |

*** SPOILER *** His opponents can see his letters reflected in his shades? Yes! It has probably never happened in reality, and you'd have to peer into someone's eyes and crane your neck to a rather suspicion-arousing degree. But I'd certainly think twice before wearing some of the fancier mirrored shades that some players go in for. A nice easy one. Thanks for playing. |

I wondered about this, too. But I think poker players peek at their cards and slide them face-down on the table. It may also be that card players are naturally more suspicious :-) |
