Costumes relevant? Is the banana (cucumber) a fruit (vegetable) with human characteristics? Such as fairy tales characters? Did you write that in a letter? text message? e-mail? Or are you writing a story, and the sentence is pronounced by a character? The other person involved in the conversation: do you know him? Relative? Friend? Colleague? Boss? Are you his boss? And just because I could not avoid that: sky-diving relevant? ;-) |

Assume text message or email. Or are you writing a story, and the sentence is pronounced by a character? No. The other person involved in the conversation: do you know him? Relative? Friend? Hmm... I should have asked that at first... Anyway, you're writing a text/mail to one of the persons you usually do sky-diving with? Do banana and cucumber indicate some positions/figures you can do while sky-diving? Is the a particular feature of real bananas and cucumbers which is relevant to the puzzle, and maybe is the reason why you use these words in sky-diving? Colour? Size? Shape? Does banana stand for B and cucumber for C, like in phonetic alphabet (alpha, bravo, charlie, etc)? |

*echoes Balin* Yay for Galfisk skydiving puzzles! Do bananas and cucumbers have any symbolic purpose? Have they got anything particular to do with skydiving? Are their nutrients beneficial to skydivers? Do skydivers try eating cucumbers and bananas while falling? Is that possible? OTRT? |

Hmm... I should have asked that at first... Anyway, you're writing a text/mail to one of the persons you usually do sky-diving with? Yes. Do banana and cucumber indicate some positions/figures you can do while sky-diving? No. There's a formation called a "horny gorilla" though, bu that's irrelevant to this puzzle. Is the a particular feature of real bananas and cucumbers which is relevant to the puzzle, and maybe is the reason why you use these words in sky-diving? Colour? Mostly thos. Size? Shape? and a bit of this. Does banana stand for B and cucumber for C, like in phonetic alphabet (alpha, bravo, charlie, etc)? No. Is a foreign word for "banana" relevant? For "cucumber"? No to both. Do skydivers try eating cucumbers and bananas while falling? Irr to both. Is that possible? Yes. OTRT? No. |

So we are looking for two "things", one yellow and roughly "banana"-shaped, the other green and roughly "cucumber"-shaped, which are relevant to sky-diving... OTRT? (Now don't the have the same shape, and just a little size difference? Hmmm...) Are these two "things" objects? Places? |

Yes - the shape is not as important though. (Now don't the have the same shape, and just a little size difference? Hmmm...) Size is not relevant. Are these two "things" objects? This. Places? |

So the banana and cucumber are two types of planes, correct? Is the "banana" your yellow jump plane (which you posted a picture of on one of the old puzzles)? |

So the banana and cucumber are two types of planes, correct? Is the "banana" your yellow jump plane (which you posted a picture of on one of the old puzzles)? Yes to all! ***SPOILER*** Our yellow jump plane has several nicknames, including "the banana". It had been sent to repair, and the replacement plane we usually have is smaller and mostly green. So what I was really asking was if our plane had been fixed yet, or if we would get the replacement. Unfortunately we got neither, but I got a couple of skydives at another club, made some new friends, and also ended up buying another parachute there (smaller, faster, more fun, and matching my skydiving outfit). So it was not all bad. Thanks for playing! |
