Over the past few days, I've learned a lot about something I've barely thought about before. It's made me extremely nervous and excited. Last night, I was ecstatic. Now, I'm worried. What's going on? |

Is it connected to the LTPF? Is the something an object? Your own body? Culture? Politics? Science? Religion? History? Some other concept? Or phenomenon? |

Is it connected to the LTPF? Only because I may have mentioned it previously. Is the something an object? No. Your own body? No. Culture? This may be involved. Politics? For svv of politics. Science? No. Religion? No, lol. History? Some of what I learned was certainly this, but not the main thing. Some other concept? Yes. Or phenomenon? Explain further if you don't mind, but I think yes, this too. |

Phenomenon: things like global warming, or solar eclipses, or meteor strikes, or radioactive decay, or toothaches, or the total annihilation of mankind. Anything like that? Is the something caused by people? Do you worry that something bad will happen? Something good? Something annoying? |

Phenomenon: things like global warming, or solar eclipses, or meteor strikes, or radioactive decay, or toothaches, or the total annihilation of mankind. Haha, oh, like that. Anything like that? Certainly not (although for some people, I suppose the result could be considered this drastic. But they exaggerate... Is the something caused by people? Yes. Do you worry that something bad will happen? Well, it'll be bad for some of the people involved, whichever way it goes. Something good? And good for the rest involved. Something annoying? I'll be annoyed if it doesn't go the way I want, for sure, although I won't consider it the end of the world as we know it. Some people might, lol. |

Is sports relevant? A competition? |

Is sports relevant? A competition? Oh, a resounding yes to both. This will probably be a fast one... |

World Series? Fox-Cablevision dispute that will prevent many people in New York metro area from watching it? Which would have made people riot if the Yankees had beaten the Rangers in the ALCS? |

World Series? This Fox-Cablevision dispute that will prevent many people in New York metro area from watching it? Not this, I knew nothing about that Which would have made people riot if the Yankees had beaten the Rangers in the ALCS? So not this...although I am glad the Rangers, not the Yankees, won, even though neither of them are my teams. Finding out why isn't relevant to the original statement, but it might be nice :-D |

Are you a baseball fan? A Phillies Phan (yes, I had to do the "ph"? A Giants fan? Rays? Reds? Braves? Twins? Red Sux (yes, I had to do that too)? Some other team? May I do the [LTPF List of Major League Baseball franchises]? And if you're a Cubs fan, may Lord have mercy on your soul. As Mike Mike Krzyzewsk (who is a Cubbies fan) said "We're not, Thank God, the Chicago Cubs". |

Giants, thank you, Mr. Coke ;-) They are, after all, my local team. |

Kaylee - congrats on the Giants in the WS. Gregory - sorry you don't get to miss class. Are you now excited b/c the Giants are in the Series? Were you excited b/c the Giants had had a 3-1 game lead? Worried when it went to 3-2? And now you're excited again? I'll be pulling for the Rangers in the Series, although I would be excited if the Giants won as well. Can't root against Josh Hamilton. Most of all, though, I'll be rooting for a great Series. |

All of what you asked is a resounding yes, Balin. :-) Aww, yes, I forgot, poor Gregory doesn't get to miss class. He should be able to have a Coke and relax. :-P But I am nervous again now, even though the Giants are in the series. Why? |

Yeah, and now I have to deal with an angry English Professor the day a paper is due. Which is probably going to bring my grade down. If she were happy because the Phillies won, maybe she'd grade nicer. So you're nervous because you're afraid they might lose? That you might get in trouble for watching them? That someone will be injured? |

Awwww, poor Gregory. *huggles* Yes, exactly! ***SPOILER*** I've just watched the National League pennant tournament for the first time, and cheered my way through all the games for the Giants, being sad the couple times they lost. Ultimately, they won the right to go to the World Series, and I was overjoyed. Now, I'm nervous because I'm worried they might lose (though I'm not all THAT worried, I mean, if they beat the Phillies, and since this is the Rangers' first Series, and we're beginning on the Giants' home ground...) but yes, bit worried they might lose. It would make me sad. |

(And I'm aware I probably called the National League tournament thing something wrong. I don't pretend that I've learned its proper name. Just National League something, and that the Giants got the pennant.) |
