Eyes: Optic? Optical? Optical illusion? Optician? Ophthalmologist? Ophthalmology? Or a part of the eye? Optic nerve? Optic disk? Retina? Choroid? Sclera? Visual axis? Optic axis? Cornea? Conjunctiva? Iris? Lacrimal glands? Pupil? And there's a lot more to the eye than that, I was just sure if you wanted me to pick something else, you'd say so. For the non-technical: Sclera = "white" of the eye, Iris = "eye color", "pupil" = opening in the middle. (AKA the black dot. =P I'm sure everyone knows the pupil is that bit, but maybe not everyone knows it's an opening. Yay for medical training. *grin*) |

Eyes: Optic? Optical? Optical illusion? Optician? Ophthalmologist? Ophthalmology? Or a part of the eye? Optic nerve? Optic disk? Retina? Choroid? Sclera? Visual axis? Optic axis? Cornea? Conjunctiva? Iris? Lacrimal glands? Pupil? No to all - it's far less technical than that. I should probably clarify my "-ish" for the eyes clue - in the grorange connection, "eyes" refers to the part of the body, but the green word is not a part of the eye. *grin*) This non-technical person appreciates the info =) However, none of it is relevant to the puzzle. |

No singing? But we love to sing! Yes, we do. But we also love Monty Python jokes. By the way, I feel like I keep confusing you with the hints for "eyes," so I will flat-out say that the green is not a body part; rather, it is the other word in a two-word...something...in which "eyes" refers to actual eyes. |

Is it a type of feeling shown by the eyes (like sleepy eyes, teary eyes, etc.)? another way of describing the state of the eyes (dry eyes, shut eyes, etc.)? It could be, but... a color of eyes (hazel eyes, blue eyes, etc.)? ...this would be more accurate...ish. However, there's an even better way to describe it. the eyes of a specific creature (eagle eyes, hawk eyes, etc.)? jealousy? No green-eyed monsters involved in this puzzle of course, because Monty Python is one of the most awesome sources of humour out there...other than woubit =D Definitely true in all senses! So, does this puzzle weigh the same as a duck? (I am not promising to make any sense, I'm tired) Well, you may have made more sense than you thought... |

To clear up any confusion I shall RECAP progress so far: Eyes Jacks Trials Valleys Victor Eyes -> something which is Yope a color. And I will give a HINT: it is the name of a product. Jacks -> not a name, the game, or playing cards. Trials -> not related to tribulations, and not "court," "judge," "juror," or "lawyer." Valleys -> nothing to do with any actual valleys (as in places). Victor -> a last name, but not "Hugo" or "Victoria." And witches are relevant somewhere. |

With action slow, it's RECAP time, And I think I'll do so in rhyme. I'll add some HINTS where needed they're So all you solvers won't despair. The two bright green clues, Witch and Clear, Are not that tough, so no hints here. For Apple, you may want to ponder Melodies that make minds wander. With Valleys, you should ask your mommy Of paper planes and origami. The Victor whose last name you need? In lit'rature he can be seen. I hope that this did make some sense So solving puzzles can commence! |

Another RECAP done in poem On this here Internet forum. You are all so very close To solving this in few posts. Smooth and Young have reached their ends; Work on them no more now, friends. Witch is the first of two-word phrase That's heard quite often in these days. To answer Brick, a common id- iom will help you on your bid. And Clear will go and hit the sink If just on Christmas you all think. Once those are done, the movie can Be realized, and that's the end. |

Witch hunt? Brick and mortar (as in a building)? To hit someone like a brick? So the movie title starts out literally "Midnight Smooth"? Or are there other words in there? |

RECAP-ISH: You have all the words - now find the movie that connects them! (HINT: It might be helpful to look over Visconti's name-the-movie puzzle.) |

These are all characters from "The Boat That Rocked" (a.k.a "Pirate Radio") so I suppose that's it? |

These are all characters from "The Boat That Rocked" (a.k.a "Pirate Radio") so I suppose that's it? You suppose correctly... **********SPOILER********** Indeed, these are all nicknames of characters from "The Boat That Rocked" (or if you're in America like me, "Pirate Radio"): Private -> Eyes -> Clear -> Midnight ("Midnight Mark") Jacks -> Apple -> Criminal -> Smooth ("Smooth Bob") Challenges -> Trials -> Witch -> Doctor ("Doctor Dave") Valleys -> Folds -> Brick -> Thick ("Thick Kevin") Champion -> Victor -> Frankenstein -> Young ("Young Carl") The many music-related connections were also a hint to the musical theme of the movie. Nice work, everyone, and nice solve, Docd. |
