They were together during a happy day. However, she felt resentful. Eventually, he was not happy either. FMOI, based on humorous comments made by a friend. Since I was away: A Happy New Year to all the co-puzzlers and congrats to Peter for his new assignment |

Assuming the above, one HAM (Woodworm will be pleased) and one HAF Time and location relevant? It happened three days ago in Rome. I try to establish how she expressed her resentfulness, but it is difficult to ask questions about. That's why it lookes like I'm asking the same questions over and over again Did she express her resentfulness to: her husband? that another person? everybody in sight? Did she express her resentfulness by: not talking to people? demostrating her bad mood? crying? shouting at somebody? She didn't express her resentfulness at all, she just felt so? ::pokes Balin:: sorry... it's one of my peeves, though in theory it could be defended in this situation :-) The thing she was resentful about -- was it directly related to their wedding (for example, the caterer didn't show up)? or did it just happen to coincide with the wedding (for example, there was a car accident outside the church)? Was it something someone said to her? them? as they left the church? The person who caused her resentment -- is he/she a passerby? part of the celebration? (part of the wedding party? a guest?) |

I'd say yes, but I have a limited experience - Christian, orthodox and catholic all weddings of a certain faith? Religion is not relevant only at weddings that meet certain criteria (for example, the saber arch happens only at a military wedding)? (theoretically) at only a few weddings? No to the rest -- it is a very common thing, so to speak, that can happen even outside a wedding ceremony Was she resentful because it didn't happen at all? No, good question because it happened in a way she didn't want it to? Yes, and ... because it failed in some way? ... Yesish |

Ok, so the thing that was wrong with the pictures... Did the photographer shoot the newlyweds separately? Or when they looked silly/ridiculous? Did the bride not liked herself on the photos? |

Did he shoot pictures of the bride? Yope The groom? yes Them together? Yope Ok, so the thing that was wrong with the pictures... Did the photographer shoot the newlyweds separately? yope Or when they looked silly/ridiculous? no Did the bride not liked herself on the photos? Yesish Enough of this, let's proceed to the ******* SPOILER ******* Our photographer, not being a professional wedding photographer but rather an artist-to-be, tried to shoot some unconventional pictures for a very conservative couple... one of those being shooting the groom while his bride's shadow was on the ground...! Which of course enraged her and eventually enraged the groom himself. The idea sparked from a little conversation that we have a few days ago in Rome, after my wife took a similar picture and tried to convince a friend -- this time a professional -- that he should try those new techniques for a real wedding. "God forbids" -- he answered -- "I won't get any contract afterwards... It's good for an exhibition but wrong for the public" Thanks to all who participated, especially Marta and Matt for sticking with it to the end! |
