Do you pick the lines from Dante's circles of Hell? Not necessarily. However, they are all from Dante's Inferno (up to canto 26 -- hint) and chosen solely based on the question. The meaning of the verse chosen as a reply is not relevant. |

First letter in the question (from the 26 of the alphabet) gives the number of the canto from Dante's Inferno. The number in the question gives the line (modulo the number of lines).
