So are They1 and They2 the same thing? For both Theys, if not the same, H/A/M? If not human, animal? Plant? Anything living? |

So are They1 and They2 the same thing? No and this is a little difficult to explain without giving too much away so I'll simply say that They 1 contains two things as does They 2. The four things are all the different components of an overall set of things. For both Theys, if not the same, H/A/M? No If not human, animal? No Plant? No Anything living? No |

Anything to do with a math equation? A matrix? A science experiment? Are they two sets of data? Equal in terms of monetary value? Weight? Mass? Size? Are "they" tangible? |

Thanks! Maybe we think on the same wavelength. Are variables involved? Exponents? Square roots? ...I think my insight might have run its course, however! |

Are numbers relevant? Digits? Operations? Operational signs? Roman numerals relevant? Arabic numerals? "Eleven plus two = twelve plus one" relevant (both as a math equation and as an anagram)? |

Thanks! Maybe we think on the same wavelength. Are variables involved? Exponents? Square roots? ...I think my insight might have run its course, however! Possibly see Balin's inspired guess below Are numbers relevant? Digits? Operations? Operational signs? Roman numerals relevant? Arabic numerals? "Eleven plus two = twelve plus one" relevant (both as a math equation and as an anagram)? Not only relevant but also the ....... **************SPOILER************** I was using this puzzle to share with you my favourite anagram i.e. Eleven Plus Two is an anagram of Twelve Plus One. I knew this would be a quickie but not that quick. Kudos to you Balin |

Should mention that the word strangely often points to an anagram in cryptic crosswords hence it's use here. |

Lucky shot - I'd had anagrams on my mind earlier that day. There's a ton of websites out there with awesome anagrams. I've always liked the one of the first part of the Hamlet soliloquy. And thanks for the cryptic tip. I'm still not very good at them, but trying to improve. |
