Seriously? The act was senseless enough, but the reason was almost incomprehensible. |

Um, the puzzle statement is a puzzle statement - thought/written by me. Not a direct quote of any sort. Did one person die? More than one? Yes and FA |

I had to ask the Seuss question...mom's a preschool teacher after all =D And it's "Sneetches", btw =D but they're not fish, lol! So. Three goldfish died and something was destroyed. The bowl or pond the goldfish were in, perhaps? (Were they koi or just regular goldfish?) Is there anything else to find out? |

I know they aren't fish! Not sure what the heck they ARE, but there are star-bellied ones and ones with no stars. I am totally down with the culture and sophistication of Suess. Three goldfish died and something was destroyed. Um, no. The something WAS the fish. We hadn't figured that out yet when the question was asked. The bowl or pond the goldfish were in, perhaps? Nope, see above (Were they koi or just regular goldfish?) Regular goldfish Is there anything else to find out? Um, yeah. Pretty much all of it...? |

Did they kill the fish: for revenge? Financial gain? As a prank? Accidentally? Out of malice? If so: towards the fish? Towards the owners? Someone else? Or did they just want to see what would happen? Were all the fish in the same water? In a tank? Fishbowl? Bag? Were they in a store? A public aquarium? Is there a reason why they used hot sauce and mustard? Or was it just readily available? Did they do anything relevant to the dead fish? Were they drunk? Stupid? |

And killed them in order not to be found out? YES! Shez had they broken into this house? Yes did they say it was because the fish were looking at them? In a way, see above because they looked hungry? No ***** SPOILER ****** In yet another installment of tales of Very Stupid Criminals, a teenager and his pals burgled an apartment in Chicago. As they were leaving the scene, an unnamed 16-year-old ringleader the of group spotted the goldfish and said, and I quote, "We can't let them live – they're witnesses." The teens then killed the fish by pouring mustard and hot sauce into the tank. Left unexplained: How exactly the teens thought the fish would be able to testify or provide evidence against them and also how individuals this stupid managed to not accidentally kill themselves before this incident. |
