While hutarsing is a common action, yoctohutarsing is not only less common, but more embarrassing (IMO). I can personally vouch for that. What does it mean to hutars and to yoctohutars? |

Does yoctohutarsing involve food? drink? transportation? communication? work? school? hobbies? media? music? [LTPF list of senses]? Do both men and women do it? Is it more common among a certain age group? Do you do it indoors? outdoors? alone? with others? Same questions for hutarsing. |

Does yoctohutarsing involve food? drink? transportation? communication? work? school? hobbies? media? music? No to all [LTPF list of senses]? Mainly touch, but sight is also involved. Do both men and women do it? No, and possible FA Is it more common among a certain age group? No Do you do it indoors? Yes outdoors? No alone? Yes with others? No Same questions for hutarsing. Same answers except that both men and women can do this. Well, I suppose women can, but it'd be much, much less likely. is yoctohutarsing another form of hutarsing? Yes In case anyone cares, I pronounce it "HYOO-tars." |

hutarsing - can any man do it? does it require any special skill? training? any special equipment? do you do it with your body alone or any object(s) required? do people do it every day or just from time to time? is it habit-forming? is it pleasurable? do people do it because they enjoy it? or they need to do it? feel they ought to do it? are compelled to do it? is there a special place where they do it? a special building? a special room? |

Is the FA that people intentionally hutars? when in fact it is more something that just happens (e.g. dropping change on the floor)? Is it unlikely for women to hutars because the object involved is something that very few women carry around? Is the object some article of clothing? or does it rely on some physical feature (like attempting to trim a moustache but only getting half of it)? |

No or does it rely on some physical feature Yes (like attempting to trim a moustache but only getting half of it)? No, but very OTRT |

So shaving in general is relevant? Does "hutars" refer to some type of mishap when shaving? like cutting the skin? and maybe to "yoctohutars" is to have the same mishap occur, and also miss the hair one intended to shave in the first place? |

So the reason a woman could not yoctohutars, but could hutars, is because one can only yoctohutars if there is facial hair there to be cut? Is it maybe to cut oneself while merely trimming a beard or mustache, rather than completely shaving it (and therefore having no reason to go near the skin at all)? |

Is it maybe to cut oneself while merely trimming a beard or mustache, rather than completely shaving it (and therefore having no reason to go near the skin at all)? Nope |

Is it relevant that "yocto-" is a meric system prefix meaning 1*10^-24, which happens to be the smallest metric prefix? In other words, one septillionth (or one quadrillionth in the long scale for our British friends) of one unit? So is yoctohusarsing like hutarsing only on a much smaller scale? |

Does it involve shaving one's face? legs? some other body part? Usually the face, but irrel waxing? No Is it relevant that "yocto-" is a meric system prefix meaning 1*10^-24, which happens to be the smallest metric prefix? Tangentially - the prefix "yocto" was used because the chances of an instance of yoctohutarsing are about that much slimmer than ordinary hutarsing. Plus it sounds cool. In other words, one septillionth (or one quadrillionth in the long scale for our British friends) of one unit? So is yoctohusarsing like hutarsing only on a much smaller scale? |

Does yocto-h still refer to cutting oneself? Maybe cutting oneself so badly that it leaves a scar? Or is it hurting oneself while shaving in some other way than by cutting? |

Neither RECAP: To hutars is to cut oneself while shaving. To yoctohutars is a subcategory of hutarsing, but one that is extremely less likely to happen (it has happened to me though). |

Does it have to do with how deep the cut is? What is used for shaving? Maybe to yoctohutars is to cut oneself while shaving with an electric razor? |

Does it have to do with how deep the cut is? No... What is used for shaving? ...Yes!! Maybe to yoctohutars is to cut oneself while shaving with an electric razor? Exactly!! **********SPOILER********** To hutars is to cut oneself shaving. To yoctohutars is to cut oneself shaving with an electric razor. Both of my previous electric razors were used for so long that they developed holes in the protective mesh, so I have cut myself while shaving with those - more than once, I might add. But I have a new one now. Nice work everyone, and nice solve Biograd. Possible bin Laden-related puzzle up tomorrow (well, technically today, but you know what I mean). |
