I'm not a Luddite but.... I'm confronted with an oxymoron every time I use my computer... and sometimes when I use my phone. |

Is your phone a smartphone? Relevant? Is it relevant what you use your computer for? Your phone? Relevant that most phones aren't used for phone calls any more? And most computers aren't used for much computing? |

HINT, which may or may not be helpful: There is a sort of baseball angle to this puzzle, in a remote lateral sort of way. |

Is pressing the "start" button when you want to shut down the computer relevant? Oh, and pressing the "END" button to turn your phone on? Yes to both! ***************SPOILER***************** This was inspired by a pastiche on Abbott & Costello's "Who's on First" routine, for which they are in the Baseball Hall of Fame (there's the baseball connection). It is rather peculiar when you think about it, but who ever stops to think about it? Kudos to Galfisk & Balin, who stopped to think, and then started up again! |
