just returning and found a puzzle of mine still open...I should finish it off before it disappears
The "certain topic":
Is it related to the type of wedding? The style? The location? Something to do with the kinds of people who will attend? A particular tradition? Decor? Anything related to: race? Gender? Nationality? Religion? Age?
the topic is not only "related to", it actually is "religion". Time to put this to bed anyway
SPOILER
Robert and Anne are planning their wedding and talking to Julia the restaurant owner about the reception dinner. The initial offer sounds very appealing, and they are having some small talk about some details of the wedding.
A few days later, Robert and Anne get an email with a concrete menu of "seasonal food" offer, which does not have much to do with what was initially talked about, including "a variety of starters" getting turned into "a bowl of green salad".
Cue Robert's comment:
"Just because we are not having a church wedding she can't try and make us think Lent is in October!"
Of course, they were opting for a different Restaurant.
