H1: human hand? Animal hand? Robot hand? Prosthetic hand? A hand of cards?
Same Q's for H2.
Stolen1=stolen2=stolen3?
Stolen: taken without consent? Taken following the rules of a game? Taken by a human? An animal? Presumed stolen but actually lost some other way?

A hand in marriage?
The hand of a clock?

Two men are in love with the same woman, but Man1 is engaged to her. It is the night before the wedding, and they are having a drink and playing poker at Man1's house. While the cards are being dealt, Man1 leaves to go to the bathroom, and Man2 peeks at his opponent's hand and swaps the cards (H1). With this disadvantage, Man1 loses and frustrated, her heads off to bed. While he's asleep, Man2 steals the hour hand from Man1's alarm clock (H2), causing him to oversleep and miss his own wedding. Humiliated, the bride-to-be leaves Man1 and Man2 consoles her - they fall in love and eventually get married, Man2 having stolen his Man1's "hand in marriage" (H3).

Was a human hand physically separated from the rest of the body? If so: by accident? Violence? Medical procesure? Disease? Self mutilation? Is a prosthetic hand relevant? Fake hand?

[quote="jumpingjacks"]Does someone cheat at poker? Yes, he stole a hand of poker by cheating (H1). For which he is punished by having his hand removed? And yes, his hand was chopped off by a barber-surgeon while the other card-players held him down (H2). Then....

Then... he stole his hand back again in order to reattach it? He stole a different human hand?
