[IrishElk] The Game

Postby irishelk » Tue Dec 25, 2018 2:42 pm

Deborah often has an audience, but there's one aspect of her job that she does all by herself. However, one day a small group of strangers ask to watch her as she performs this task. She agrees, and from then onward there is usually a small group watching her during this previously solitary task.

What does Deborah do?

Do they watch it because they find it entertaining? Educational? Interesting? Exciting? Because they like her? Out of curiosity? Are they outside? In a public area? Is she being filmed? Photographed? Does she interact with them?

from then onward there is usually a small group watching her = did she ask for it in order to perform the task better? Did she become famous because she has been filmed while doing the task? Does the task take minutes to be completed? Hours? Does she perform a show? A presentation? A slide show? Is the task per se intriguing? Can the task be considered "preparation before the show"? Is Deborah famous? Cab Deborah be helped in performing the task? Is it a task usually performed alone? Are there many others in tge world doing the same thing as Deborah? Is Deborah HAF? Relevant? Is the task routinary? Does she do always the same thing? Is the task performed before she has an audience? After? Can the task be considered a sort of show as well (e.g. she is a lyric singer warming up her voice)?

Audience = generic passers? People having payed a ticket? Does she perform on a stage? In the street? Are animals involved? Food? Magic show? Theater? Music? Airplanes? Dolphins?

there is usually a small group watching her = group of the same people? Of always (well...almost) different people? Do they help her? Are they interested in learning what she is doing?

Do they watch it because they find it entertaining? Educational? Somewhat, but there is a more specific reason. Interesting? Exciting? Because they like her? Out of curiosity? Yope, no to rest.
Are they outside? No. In a public area? No. Is she being filmed? No.Photographed? No.Does she interact with them? Not relevantly.

from then onward there is usually a small group watching her = did she ask for it in order to perform the task better? No. Did she become famous because she has been filmed while doing the task? No. Does the task take minutes to be completed? This. Hours? Does she perform a show? This. A presentation? A slide show? No to rest.
Is the task per se intriguing? I'd say so, but not relevantly. Can the task be considered "preparation before the show"? Yes. Is Deborah famous? No. Can Deborah be helped in performing the task? No. Is it a task usually performed alone? Yes. Are there many others in the world doing the same thing as Deborah? Something similar, yes--her exact task, probably few.
Is Deborah HAF? Yes. Relevant? Not really. Is the task routine? For her, yes. Does she do always the same thing? Yes. Is the task performed before she has an audience? Yes. After? No. Can the task be considered a sort of show as well (e.g. she is a lyric singer warming up her voice)? Sort of, but she is not doing the same thing she does for an audience.

Audience = generic passers? People having payed a ticket? This. Does she perform on a stage? In the street? Either is possible. Are animals involved? Food? Magic show? Any of these could be in the same show. Theater? Yes. Music? Almost certainly. Airplanes? Dolphins? Probably not.

there is usually a small group watching her = group of the same people? No. Of always (well...almost) different people? Yes. A few people may repeat. Do they help her? No. Are they interested in learning what she is doing? Not exactly.

Circus relevant? Are the objects used by her what intrigues the people (e.g. ancient objects, rare objects, objects with an historical value?)? Is the task, before people come and see it, performed backstage? Is it now performed as part of the show? Does she perform something dangerous? Are weapons involved? Is she an actress? Music involved = she plays the music? An instrument? She dances? She does something following the rythm of the music? Is she alone in performing the show? Is she the assistant of a magician?

Do people watching her performing the task want to see if there are tricks? If she cheats? Do people watching her performing the task go backstage? Does she play a piano being blindfolded? Are ropes involved? Is the task a sort of preparation to the main show? a warm up? Tuning? Can her performance be in the middle of a show? Does she need rehersals? Can the task be performed minutes before the show? Or does it need to be performed a lot of time before the show?

Circus relevant? Yes! Are the objects used by her what intrigues the people (e.g. ancient objects, rare objects, objects with an historical value?)? Noish. Is the task, before people come and see it, performed backstage? Yes. Is it now performed as part of the show? Not exactly. Does she perform something dangerous? No. Are weapons involved? No. Is she an actress? Her role involves acting... Music involved = she plays the music? An instrument? Probably not. She dances? Most likely. She does something following the rhythm of the music? Most likely. Is she alone in performing the show? Irr, there are probably several other with this role. Is she the assistant of a magician? No.

Do people watching her performing the task want to see if there are tricks? If she cheats? No, but good thought.
Do people watching her performing the task go backstage? Yes. Does she play a piano being blindfolded? No. Are ropes involved? No. Is the task a sort of preparation to the main show? Yes. a warm up? Tuning? Can her performance be in the middle of a show? Does she need rehersals? No to rest.
Can the task be performed minutes before the show? Or does it need to be performed a lot of time before the show? I imagine it can be the last thing she does before the show, but I believe it takes some time.

Backstage...maybe already asked...are animals involved? Is her role: clown? Trapeze artist? tightrope walker? Contortionist? Dancer? Tamer? Bearded lady? Does she dance on a horse? Others? Is the Greatest Showman relevant? Make up relevant? Weapons? Does she perform her show alone? With someone else?
Is her show considered mainly for children? For adults? For both? Does the performance require mainly: balance? Precision? Are baloons relevant? Flours? Other things taht could be given as a gift to children?
Preparation to the main show = clothing? Physical preparation? Mental preparation? Exercises simulating the main show? Stretching? Setting up tools for the main show (e.g. stilts)?

Is her show performed in the middle of the main show?, at the end?, at the very beginning? Relevant?

At a certain point, after she had been visited by the first group she began to be visited by many other people without being filmed by the first group right? Is it relevant how her backstage preparation became popular? Did she give something to the public in the backstage?

Make up relevant? Yes. Weapons? No. Does she perform her show alone? With someone else?Irr.
Is her show considered mainly for children? For adults? For both? Irr. Does the performance require mainly: balance? Precision? Not relevantly. Are baloons relevant? Flours? Other things that could be given as a gift to children? No to all.

Is it relevant how her backstage preparation became popular? Not really. Did she give something to the public in the backstage? Not something physical, yopeishly something intangible.

Did they want to see how she looked like before clothing as a clown? Did they see her already with make up? Already clothed as a clown? Did she give some make up to children? Did they have the opportunity to put the make up to her? To choose some pieces of clothing? Can we imagine her dressed up as a conventional clown (as the one of Mc. Donald for instance)? Is the way she put make up relevant? (e.g. people wanting to learn how to dres up as clown...)

Are sounds relevant (the kind of noises made by clowns)? Wig? Shoes? Pillows under the clothes? Other accessories? Is it something like mothers leave children to the clown while they go to buy the tickets/buy something to eat? Did she try some steps of dance?

Did they want to see how she looked like before clothing as a clown? Yesish. Did they see her already with make up?Already clothed as a clown? Not before seeing her without, no.
Did she give some make up to children? Did they have the opportunity to put the make up to her? To choose some pieces of clothing? No to all.
Can we imagine her dressed up as a conventional clown (as the one of Mc. Donald for instance)? Yes. Is the way she put make up relevant? Not a particular way, but her putting it on is relevant. (e.g. people wanting to learn how to dres up as clown...) Not this.

Are sounds relevant (the kind of noises made by clowns)? No. Wig? Shoes? Pillows under the clothes? Other accessories? Only in that they are part of the clown costume. Is it something like mothers leave children to the clown while they go to buy the tickets/buy something to eat? No. Did she try some steps of dance? No.

Besides being interested in the circus, do the observers have anything else in common? Do they have a relevant profession or field of study?

Do they want to see her naked? And she's performing a sort of reverse clown striptease for them because they have some weird fetish?

Do they want to see her naked? No, I imagine she'd have some underclothes on when the dressing starts. And she's performing a sort of reverse clown striptease for them because they have some weird fetish? Haha, no, but I love this and I want to know if it exists

Are any of the following relevant about the observers: their age? Gender? Whether they are able-bodied? Their ethnicity? Religion? A common experience?
