[gregoryuconn] Amanda Hugandkiss

Postby gregoryuconn » Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:27 am

For many years, a business receives sporadic phone calls for a certain individual who does not, and never has, worked there. At one point, the calls pick up in volume quite significantly over a few days before stopping altogether forever.

BOATS, with some fictional elements.

Relevant what kind of business? Is the caller(s) actually looking for a person? Does the person they call for exist? Does the same person keep calling about this person, or is it several people? Is the business often confused with another one? Are people calling the wrong number? Is the name mentioned actually/also the name of some kind of product they sell?

Relevant what kind of business? Not specifically, but it might help to figure out. Is the caller(s) actually looking for a person? Yes. Does the person they call for exist? Yes with a slight ish. Does the same person keep calling about this person, or is it several people? Several people. Is the business often confused with another one? Not another business, no, at least not relevantly.... Are people calling the wrong number? I think the answer is yes, but please clarify what you mean by this. Is the name mentioned actually/also the name of some kind of product they sell? No, but very OTRT.

Are the calls in response to an advert? or maybe something people saw in a TV show or movie? I'm guessing the Simpsons are irrelevant?

Does the business have the name that could be/sounds like the name of a person, and the callers think that's who they're calling instead of the business? Is it actually named after a person? A celebrity/famous person? And if so, did the calls stop after that person died?

Did they suddenly get a lot of calls because of a certain event? Unrelated to their business? A good one? Bad one?

Are they prank calls? Sincere calls? Do they receive more calls because something went viral? Do they receive no calls because they did something? Is their phone number relevant? Their name? A product they make or sell? A service of theirs?

Are the calls in response to an advert? or maybe something people saw in a TV show or movie? I'm guessing the Simpsons are irrelevant? None of these are relevant

Does the business have the name that could be/sounds like the name of a person, and the callers think that's who they're calling instead of the business? Yes Is it actually named after a person? It's actually named after a different person but that's irrelevant. A celebrity/famous person? The person they're trying to call? No. The person it's named after? Yes, but irrelevant. And if so, did the calls stop after that person died? Bingo, you've got most of it!

Did they suddenly get a lot of calls because of a certain event? Yes Unrelated to their business? Yes A good one? Bad one? A bad one.

Are they prank calls? Sincere calls? Thos Do they receive more calls because something went viral? Do they receive no calls because they did something? Is their phone number relevant? Their name? See previous question. A product they make or sell? A service of theirs? No to rest.

Was the business named after a person who shared a name with an unrelated celebrity? Or just had a similar name? Full name relevant? First? Last? Nicknames?

Was the business named after a person who shared a name with an unrelated celebrity? No, it was named after the famous person. But again, don't worry about the famous person, worry about the person who was getting the phone calls. The famous person is completely irrelevant to this puzzle but I wanted to give an accurate answer. Also, I wouldn't call him a "celebrity" really. Or just had a similar name? To who? Full name relevant? Yes First? Last? Nicknames?

Did the person who got the phone calls get mistaken for someone else? Did they think that person knew someone specific? Or knew about something?

Bad thing = Something that happened to a person? Several people? Death? Someone got hurt? Someone committed a crime? Some kind of scandal or controversy?
