Me=you, Doriana? Software feature? Feature of a device? Machine? Vehicle? Person? Personality? You yourself? WAG: do you talk to loud, which made a good impression on the hard-of-hearing interviewer? Job: relevant in what field? Did the feature help during the interview? When sending a resume? When writing it? Did it help you meet/get to know the person who'd hire you?

Was the job at the company that makes the software? Does the job involve the software in some way? Is that software commonly used at that workplace?

Did you point out the annoying feature in the interview? Did you know about the annoying feature during the interview? Did the interviewer know about the annoying feature? Did they believe that the feature was annoying?

Did you use the software on your phone? Home computer? A device at the interview site? Relevant?

Is the interview relevantly in person? Or online? If the latter, is the software being used to conduct the interview?

Did your relevant interaction with the software occur: minutes before the interview? Hours before? Days before? Weeks? Longer?

Would the feature have still helped you if it was less annoying? Would you say it is annoying because it doesn't do what it is intended to? it does something extra and unnecessary? It makes you do extra work? it makes a task harder?

Was the title added at some point? Yes Did you add the title because of the annoying feature? YES Did the annoying feature cause the title to appear?

********SPOILER********

For a recent job interview, I had to prepare a five-minute pitch. I had all the content for my slides, but I had the impression that something was missing. That's when PowerPoint's "design ideas" - a feature that suggests, among other things, background images for the title slide - came to my rescue. The feature, which I usually find annoying and superfluous, suggested the attached image. This gave me the idea to title my presentation "Building Bridges" and helped me created a coherent narrative for my slides. The interviewers were impressed wit my pitch and I was offered the position.

Thanks for playing!
