it = something made by a group of people? HAMixed? Was it a risky activity? a sport? a normal activity?

so is it a whole sentence: "it was fun, but sides effect was no joke"?
did you expect such side effects (i.e. you could read about them somewhere? on a paper? on a contract?)? did they manifest immediately after? After hours? Days? Seconds? Months? Years?

Sides effects = injuries? animals died? someone taking permanent decisions? Someone having permanent damages? environmental damages? damages on health?

Did everyone who experienced the fun also experience the side effects?

Just to make sure, the one person who experiences the fun is the same person who experienced the side effects, correct? Is that person you, GalFisk?

Did the side effects affect the person's body? mind? finances? relationships? property?

So, the side effect is getting a song stuck in your head? or more than one song?

Was the song directly part of the fun activity? Or did something about the activity remind you of the song?

So, the side effect is getting a song stuck in your head? or more than one song? This, but it could also happen with just one song.

Was the song directly part of the fun activity? Yes. Or did something about the activity remind you of the song?

Does the activity involve making music? listening to music? recording music? editing music? writing music?

Is the activity a preparation for something else? e.g. changing the lyrics to a song that will be sung at a birthday/wedding/other event?

Was the music coming from a radio? a CD? a record? MP3? YouTube? a streaming service? Spotify or Youtube. It would work with MP3s, CDs or records as well. a live performance?

Parodies relevant at all? Yes.

Did you listen to a parody song and get the original stuck in your head? the other way round?
Did you come up with a parody yourself while listening and couldn't get it out of your head?

Close enough.

SPOILER:
I find the lyrics to popular Swedish "dansband" music to be shallow and insipid, and therefore very easy to parody. I sometimes come up with better (in my opinion) lyrics on the fly when I hear them, and one day I decided to start writing some down. It snowballed and I completed a bunch of parodies over the course of a week or so. But in order to get them right I had to listen to the originals, and they started getting stuck in my head. Their one redeeming quality is that their tunes are often catchy.

Thanks for playing Earnest and Balin, and also well solved, Doriana.
