Noish to accident--> was a bad situation intentionally caused by someone else? Theft? Assault? Murder? No to all
Did the person intentionally do something they knew would have negative consequences? No Is illness involved? Yope Embarrassment? No
Did it happen in a place where people would be around to help? Yes Or where the situation could be quickly resolved? This too Would the optimist say it was the best place because it "builds character," i.e., good for the person in the long run? No

Was the person it happened to HAM? H/A/F Can we call him Bob? It was me, see below, so for consistency I'd rather not call myself Bob Was Bob injured? No, but... Killed? Stabbed? Shot? Run over by a vehicle? Run over by an ambulance perhaps? No to rest Maybe in front of the hospital? But this is OTRT (minus the ambulance part)
Are the places referenced by the pessimist and optimist the same place? Yes Or perhaps Bob was injured in a bad place on his body but in a good location such as in front of a hospital where he could quickly receive treatment? Good idea, but no (again, however, OTRT)

Is this a real event? Yes A historic one? No Were there witnesses other than the person it happened to? Not to the event itself, but to what happened afterwards
Earnest
Did it happen during a job interview? A relevant event (a marriage/funeral/Christmas lunch)? In front of an audience? In the metro? In a bus? During a Skype call? While you were talking with someone relevant? Inside a church? Inside a museum? Restaurant? house? Building producing echo? a disco? a place where etiquette is important? a theatre? No to all (it happened inside a building, but none of the ones you mentioned)
technology relevant? E.g. automatic access to wi-fi that implied the reproduction of a video that you were watching before... No
Did it happen to: people? One person --> you? Yes I am making the questions below assuming so. If not, please I rephrase the questions with the other subject.
Is it something physical (I mean sweating/having to urgently go to the bathroom)? Yes, but not the examples you mentioned Or maybe manifesting a symptom in thee worst possible moment (e.g. "I do not feel tastes" during a boring lunch, which led the others think that you had COVID: a pessimist would say that it happened in the worst moment, an optimist would say that you were lucky. to escape from that lunch) No, but "symptom" is getting OTRT
