Hi, Wildcard! The Wildcard, I presume?

Were the students getting airborne in a vehicle? Under their own power? Using equipment such as a trampoline? Did they get airborne as part of the curriculum? An extra-curricular activity? Sports? Completely by accident? Is there a health and safety issue at play?

In going airborne, did the students rise to a height of less than one foot? Less than 10? Less than 100? Less than 1000?

Were those who were airborne end up at the same place they started before going airborne? If not, did they end at a place higher than the start point? Lower?
Are all of the ones who are going airborne doing so in the same fashion? At the same place? At the same time?
Do those who go airborne do so with assistance from other persons? Are they thrown upwards? Lifted? Pushed?
Does the process of going airborne involve some kind of object? More than one object? Something held by those who perform the act?
