Did [WiZ] Just Post a Puzzle in February?

Postby WiZ » Tue Feb 16, 2021 8:27 pm

A boy receives a series of pinch point injuries over the course of a school day. He then goes to his doctor, who gives him a life-changing diagnosis that has nothing to do with his injuries. What had happened?

Life-changing to the better? to the worse? requiring the boy to change his life?
Were the injuries all in the same part of the body? Did he receive them all at once? intentionally? (like: acupuncture?)
Was the boy actually at school during this day?

Does he go to the doctor because of the injuries? Does the doctor happen upon the diagnosis when examining or treating the injuries? Relevant how he got the injuries? Age of the boy relevant?

Relevant that it is a boy? a schoolboy?
Could the same happen to a girl? to an adult person?
Did the boy get the injuries while at school? during school activities?
Were the injuries caused by needles? nails? wire?
Animals involved? Were the injuries insect bites or stings?
