[gregoryuconn] Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

Postby gregoryuconn » Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:36 am

John lies to Mary to avoid getting in trouble. Mary immediately sees through the lie, but nonetheless does not punish John. Why?

John = HAM? An animal? HCM?
Is the lie about: not having done something when instead he had? Omitting something? Did John write ssomething h did not know?
Is the lie a "white lie"? Is the lie benefical for John/Mary (e.g. a surpise birthday?)? Did John lie directly to Mary? To someone else? To peopl in general (e.g. h wrote on his instagam profile that h had a qualification he did not have in reality) Did Mary fake about being fallen into John's lie?

Relationship btwen John and Mary rlvant? Frieends? Mother and son? Strangers? Collegues? Wife and husband?

Is the fist time that John lies? Did Maary avoid to punish John thaat time because sshe wanted to wait for something in ode to punish him? (e.g. catch him in the act of doing something)

is advetising relevant? Had Mary "the power" to punish John? Would the punishment be of the type: "go into you room"/"you cannot use the phone anymore"... or something moe serioous (e.g. divorcing, denouncing...)

WAAG (iss indeed verry wild thiss time): is Mary, holy Mary and John a catolic person who confess himself?

Is her punishing him the trouble he lies to avoid? Some other trouble with her? Does he know she sees through the lie? Does she not punish him so that he won't know she saw through the lie?

John = HAM? An animal? HCM? This
Is the lie about: not having done something when instead he had? No! Omitting something? Did John write ssomething h did not know? No to these as well.
Is the lie a "white lie"? Is the lie benefical for John/Mary (e.g. a surpise birthday?)? Did John lie directly to Mary? This, no to others in this paragraph To someone else? To peopl in general (e.g. h wrote on his instagam profile that h had a qualification he did not have in reality) Did Mary fake about being fallen into John's lie?

Relationship btwen John and Mary rlvant? for svv of relationship Frieends? Mother and son? Strangers? Collegues? Wife and husband? Not these

Is the fist time that John lies? First relevant time anyway Did Maary avoid to punish John thaat time because sshe wanted to wait for something in ode to punish him? (e.g. catch him in the act of doing something) No

is advetising relevant? No Had Mary "the power" to punish John? Probably not directly, mainly relevant for context. Would the punishment be of the type: "go into you room"/"you cannot use the phone anymore"... or something moe serioous (e.g. divorcing, denouncing...) Not as serious as the punishments you consider serious

WAAG (iss indeed verry wild thiss time): is Mary, holy Mary and John a catolic person who confess himself? No, lol

Is her punishing him the trouble he lies to avoid? Yes Some other trouble with her? No Does he know she sees through the lie? He probably figured she might, and once she didn't punish him, it would have become clear in any case. Does she not punish him so that he won't know she saw through the lie? No
