[JenBurdoo] Messmaker, messmaker, make me a mess

Postby JenBurdoo » Wed Dec 25, 2019 12:58 am

One of my cats, just moments ago, made a mess on the floor. Yet, I was pleased! Why?

Did she regurgitate something? Did it the mess come out of another of the cats’ orifices? Did she make a mess by tearing something apart? Or wrecking something? Did the cat make it with food? Toilet paper? Water? Mouse entrails?

Did she regurgitate something? Yes! He's male, btw. Did it the mess come out of another of the cats’ orifices? Did she make a mess by tearing something apart? Or wrecking something? Did the cat make it with food? Toilet paper? Water? Mouse entrails? None of these.

Did he regurgitate food? Hair? Animal bits? An object? Something that could've caused him harm? Something you were looking for? Relevant what it was? Where he did it? When? Why? WAG: had you successfully trained him to puke in a certain place? Or avoid puking in a certain place?

WAG: had you successfully trained him to puke in a certain place? Or avoid puking in a certain place? No to the rest.

Was the hair a sign of something positive? Of the cat being healthy? Had the cat been sick? Had issues with grooming? With his fur?

My cat is medically and mentally challenged. I rarely see him grooming himself, but he recently spit up. As I cleaned the mess, I noted hair in it and praised him for, effectively, being a normal cat.
