Was she an Anglican minister and preparing for the 'Peas be with you' exchange?

No?

OK.

Are the peas to be used in the course of the working day? Are they eaten? Are they relevantly seen? Is the relevant aspect the temperature (e.g. used as a cold compress against an injury), the texture? The sound (e.g. when a frozen bag is crushed) Are they used as some kind of prop or substitute? Are they used in conjunction with another item (e.g. dried peas inside a soccer ball)?

Does she do this regularly? Does she have a particular objective on this day? Is something unrelated to work prompting this? Is her commute relevant?

Was she an Anglican minister and preparing for the 'Peas be with you' exchange? :D , on the subject of pea humour I was very proud of a joke I came up with when I was about 10 , I absolutely love peas and someone asked me 'how come you love peas so much, my response was 'because my name's P eter !

No? Fraid not but a nice gag.

OK.

Are the peas to be used in the course of the working day? Yes Are they eaten? No Are they relevantly seen? NoIs the relevant aspect the temperature (e.g. used as a cold compress against an injury), the texture? No The sound (e.g. when a frozen bag is crushed) Yes but not to the example you've given Are they used as some kind of prop or substitute? No Are they used in conjunction with another item (e.g. dried peas inside a soccer ball)? Yes but again not to the example

Does she do this regularly? Yes Does she have a particular objective on this day? No , her objective is the same each time, it's not a one off thing Is something unrelated to work prompting this? No Is her commute relevant? No

Most obvious first: tombola relevant? advent calendar?

Sound = like shaking a bag with dried peas inside? Or like peas falling down on the floor? Imitate bones cracking relevant? Does she makes sound in movies?

Do peas relevantly fit somewhere? Does she use them one by one? All together?

Are peas needed for her work? For avoiding something annoying? For avoiding someone annoying? Canteen relevant? Parking car? Occupy an empty space? Was she a science teacher? a teacher wanting to tell a story?

Most obvious first: tombola relevant? advent calendar? No to both

Sound = like shaking a bag with dried peas inside? Or like peas falling down on the floor? Imitate bones cracking relevant? Does she makes sound in movies? No to all, although the floor example is closest

Do peas relevantly fit somewhere? Yes Does she use them one by one? Yes All together?

Are peas needed for her work? Yes For avoiding something annoying? For avoiding someone annoying? Canteen relevant? Parking car? Occupy an empty space? Was she a science teacher? a teacher wanting to tell a story? No to the rest

Are they relevantly seen? No --> are they relevantly not seen? online chatting relevant? Reproducing sound for an audience relevant? Is the sound annoying? Does the sound change according to something? Does the sound last more than a second? More than a minute? More than an hour? Does the sound stop eventually? If so, does she stop it? Does it stop independently from her will (e.g. depending on an event to verify)? Relevant for her when it stops?
Is the bean caught by her somewhere? E.g. in the door jamb? Between teeth?

Is the sound produced a tic? A continuous sound? Is it a regular sound? Like a clock? Is it relevantly heard by someone (human? animal? colleagues? friends? boss? relatives? clients? others?)? Is it immediately associated to a dried bean? Is the sound produced by the crashing of the bean against something? Against he floor? Against an object? Against a metallic object? Against glass? Against wood?

does she use them to count? Does she give them to someone? rhythm relevant?

Do peas relevantly fit somewhere? Yes --> weapons relevant? Beans used as bullets for pallet gun? others?

Her work is related to: food? Supermarkets? animal? teaching? Art? Museums? books? toys? clothing? technology? music? science? Universities?

Are they relevantly seen? No No --> are they relevantly not seen? Yes online chatting relevant? Reproducing sound for an audience relevant? No to both Is the sound annoying? Quite subjective so I'll say maybe Does the sound change according to something? Does the sound last more than a second? More than a minute? More than an hour? No to all Does the sound stop eventually? The sound is instantaneous If so, does she stop it? Yope , hard to define this as you'll see when the solution is revealed Does it stop independently from her will (e.g. depending on an event to verify)? No Relevant for her when it stops? See above
Is the bean caught by her somewhere? E.g. in the door jamb? Between teeth? No and it's a pea not a bean

Is the sound produced a tic? A continuous sound? No it's an split second sound but she may cause it to happen more than once Is it a regular sound? Yes but depends on your definition of regular Like a clock? No Is it relevantly heard by someone (human? animal? colleagues? friends? boss? relatives? clients? others?)? Yes by a human , they're clients of a sort but that's a strech , they're not relatives or friends necessarily but they could be Is it immediately associated to a dried bean? Yes once the person hearing it understands what's going on Is the sound produced by the crashing of the bean against something? Yes although crashing might be overstating it a bit Against he floor? Against an object? Yes Against a metallic object? Against glass? Yes Against wood?

does she use them to count? Does she give them to someone? rhythm relevant? No to all

Do peas relevantly fit somewhere? Yes --> weapons relevant? Beans used as bullets for pallet gun? others? No but not a million miles away

Her work is related to: food? Supermarkets? animal? teaching? Art? Museums? books? toys? clothing? technology? music? science? Universities? None of these

Excellent progress Galfisk and Earnest

Does she use them in a peashooter? Do they make a noise when they are blown? After? Is the sound created by the pea rattling in something as it’s blown? By it hitting a target? Blown: with air from her lungs? Someone else’s lungs? Artificially?

Is she a street performer? Carny? Professional peashooter person? Does she work in a research capacity somehow? Is she testing something? Is her work at all related to entertainment? Education (not teaching, as already established, but maybe expanding a field of knowledge?)?

Is she a street performer? Carny? No to both Professional peashooter person? Wouldn't describe her as a professional pea-shooter as in some sort of competitor but she earned a living from doing this. Does she work in a research capacity somehow? Is she testing something? Is her work at all related to entertainment? Education (not teaching, as already established, but maybe expanding a field of knowledge?)? No to the rest .

Does she blow the peas? Does someone else? blowguns relevant? Does she blow peas on a gong? Does she wake someone? hypnosis. relevant? Does she want to dunk? Does she want to trick someone? Convince someone that he/she dunk? Does something crash as a consequence of the blown peas? Had she thrown it instead of blown it would the puzzle work (assuming she is the one who blows the peas)? Is the sound necessary to make someone understand that she hit a target? To see if someone hear the sound? To produce an echo? A note?

Against glass? Yes --> maybe something that had glass in inside? a window? a glass? A box? If a box: noise made with the internal part of the box? External?

Is she an alarm clock for hire? Indeed she is and that's good enough for the ......................

*************************Spoiler***********************

In post war Britain reliable alarm clocks were very hard to come by and some women (and a few men) earned an extra few pence a week by acting as alarm clocks by arrangement with workers who feared oversleeping. They would blow peas from a pea shooter at their 'client's' window until they acknowledged that they were up and about. These women were know as 'knocker ups' which sounds like something a lot less savoury to me.

Lots of cool photos online of these women at their work.

Thannks for playing, stay safe everyone.
