When you went back to the ground floor, did you feel the dizzinesss? No, only at the top of the stairs.
Turn the music off, then go out in the garden again. Done. (Just to clear up: the garden extends only to the north of the house, right?) Correct.
Take a look at the flowerbeds, and the rope. The entire garden area is about ten feet square, and completely disgusting. It seems that no one harvested anything, so all the flowers and fruits just rotted on the ground. The rope hangs loosely from posts all around it. There seems to something small and white, out in the middle of the muck. If the rope is in good condition, take it. It is. As you grab it, making sure not to touch any of the grossness--suddenly, you can't breathe. You have a sudden, intense feeling that something is pulled tight around your neck, and you have a vision of a thin red line on pale skin.
Then it's over, and you're holding the rope. Just for the record, this is getting really creepy.
Also examine the statue closer: any inscription? Nothing written on it, but you walk around it for a close look. The angel faces east, and stretches its arms out as if to shelter you. When you look at its feet--well, there's a girl there. You jump back, not expecting anyone to be here, but you suppose after the ghost and the visions you should pretty much expect anything.
She looks frightened and unhappy. She meets your eyes, cries, "He killed him!"...and then vanishes.
Any openings/doors in the concrete wall? No, it's tall and solid. There seems to be some scratches on it, though, right in the middle.
Then let's explore the two west rooms upstairs: when you enter the house, take the knife, then go up the stairs and see if you feel the vertigo again. You do, but this time you expect it, so it's not so bad.
Try to open both doors, if you can take a look at the rooms and, if safe, enter and describe the rooms. You cautiously push open each door, and step inside.
The upstairs west room that's closer to the stairs is a Classroom of some kind. There is no light on in the room, so it's hard to see much, but there seems to be a chalkboard on the west wall, along with what might be a window, but it's completely boarded up. in the northeast corner there are a couple of books on the floor.
The further west room upstairs is a Kid's Bedroom. This one has a dim overhead light. There is a small bed on the north wall and some toy cars in the middle of the floor. That's about it. Depressing.

Return to the cellar, get a red wine, and fill the ghost's glass. She smiles brightly and takes a sip. Where is the wine going, anyway? Then please re-ask Earnest's questions from above.
As you desperately ask question after question, she flashes you the same sorrowful smile.
"You're going to get me in trouble...but let me see, maybe I can say something without really saying anything, you know?" She looks down and bites her lip, thinking. "I always find it's best to go in a proper order, don't you? And if you're looking for the first one...the first one to go...well, that nasty business went down in the garden. But before you're able to talk to him, I'd recommend looking around--" instead of finishing her thought, she points straight up.
Earnest
Please look if any name us written on the statue. Any date? Does it look like a tombstone. Nothing written on it. Maybe we could dig a bit...Take a flower and bring it to the ghost before talking to her. Uh, not to be uncooperative, but you've dug around in enough dirt for one day. And there is no way in hell you're touching that rotten mess in the flowerbed.
Please turn the music off. And also please tell the woman:" oh well I see a garden in your house. I liked it very much. Can you tell me more about it? Do you like gardening?". After she replied, please ask the ghost about the criptic instruction I wrote above. When you ask her about the garden, she blushes (which for a ghost, apparently, just means she turns a brighter white). "You're very sweet, thank you. I know it's an absolute mess--I can't go out there anymore."
She listens to your question about Keen's note with a thoughtful frown. She's about to answer, but suddenly she looks into the distance, apparently hearing something that is inaudible to you. She suddenly looks horrified. Her hand grabs your arm, and it's like being grabbed by a freezing cold cloud. "I've said too much--he's awake! He's listening now--I have to go." And with that, she's gone.
